SOME RECENT NEWS BYTES: "Echoes" - the UK's leading black music monthly - calls SHUSIC "One of the strongest male indie releases...this year!" (Click Here to Read the Review!), and Shu has been featured on the cover of Ariztos Magazine!!
Based on Shu's live show and success on the road, he has just been picked up by a NATIONAL BOOKING AGENCY!! In the Pocket Artists has added Shu to their booking roster so you can now reasonably expect that he'll be showing up soon at a town near you!!! Watch this space! :)
Also, Shu was named a top songwriter in Billboard's Songwriting Contest 2006, as well as a Grand Prize Winner AND runner-up in the prestigious John Lennon Songwriting Contest, and has been granted a merit-based ASCAPlus Award from ASCAP, in recognition of the "activity generated by [his] catalog" of songs!
In other news, Shu has signed a major distribution deal for "Shusic" in Japan and was recently interviewed by BBC1Xtra, one of the UK's top radio station, where his songs have been in regular rotation! Listen to the interview HERE
